1. Who we are

Lura Leads ("we", "us", "our") is a lead generation and outreach platform based at 1501 - 77 Davisville Avenue, Toronto, ON M4S 1G4, Canada. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Lura Leads at luralead.com (the "Service").

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
• Lead and business data you search for or import: business names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and other publicly available business contact details you use the Service to find or manage.
• Campaign content and delivery data: the emails, SMS messages, and call scripts you create, and delivery/engagement metadata (sent, opened, bounced, unsubscribed).
• Sender identity data: if you verify a custom sending domain or email address, we store the domain/email name and its verification status.
• Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and debugging.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (like light/dark mode) — the Service can't function without these. With your permission, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the product is used, so we can improve it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time.

4. How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service, including sending the campaigns you create.
• To authenticate you and secure your account.
• To maintain suppression/opt-out lists and comply with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar anti-spam laws.
• To troubleshoot issues and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service.

We do not sell your personal information or the lead data in your account to third parties.

5. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate Lura Leads, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing that service:

• Our email delivery provider (AWS SES), to send campaign emails.
• Our database and hosting providers, to store and run the Service.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lura Leads, our users, or others.

6. Data retention

We retain account and campaign data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete a sending domain or email identity, the associated verification data is deleted promptly.

7. Your choices

• Every campaign email includes an unsubscribe/opt-out link.
• You can remove a sending domain or email identity at any time in the app.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your password is never stored in plain text. Before it is saved to our database, it is hashed using an industry-standard hashing algorithm, meaning the original password is converted into a secure, irreversible value. This means that even the Lura Leads team cannot view your actual password.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
